lots of camera this weekend at the slider jam.
while I'd rather not "bore" you with a million slider shots, I did want to share the vibe I captured over the weekend.
it was a good weekend to kite and/or watch at the sandbar.
even had fun hanging with the inept crew.
thanks sean the photog for teaching me some new things.

tried to find the name of this trick on pkra website but unsuccessful.
the event came together with many riders helping setup.

Awesome
I couldn't make it to the HR this weekend. These images make me feel almost like I was there. Thanks!

Thanks to 2nd wind, the Slider Project Crew and all the other sponsers for putting on a great weekend. I had fun shovelling some snow, setting up and taking down tents. The band was great. The glow of people texting on their phones around the fire added to the atmosphere.
I did not think moving the sliders was going to work but it did. Helping out with a mixed crew was interesting. It was cool that some of the visiting riders were out there helping too.
I did not know the supported riders were going to put on a show at 4 on Saturday. I was lucky to have quit sailing (or attempting to) and came back just in time to walk out and see the show. Very intertaining. I didn't know the names of the kiters or in a couple of cases even the brand of kites they were flying. I talked to one of the photographers out on the beach who knew everybody and that made it more interesting. The helicopter was annoying, but after they left, the show got better.
So after a great weekend I can now add "hanging out with the inept crew" to my list of titles and accomplishments, which include newbie, kook and lurker (those of use who just look at this website and don't often chime in).
Thanks again for a fun time.

Great pics and titles Stringy. Can't wait to see more get rolled out over the next few weeks from Air Lance and Rico Suave too.
Epic Hood weekend.....if you missed it....the pics show just part of the overall good vibe and stoke. The list of people who deserve thanks is long but they definitely set the tone and raised the bar for future events to come this summer. Respect!
