| Working here for the rest of the week and hoping to kite. Can someone provide directions to Locust Beach, is the parking off Eldridge Ave? Any other spots that I should check out close. I know there's bellingham kiteboarding website but pretty lax on directions. |

Its off Marine Dr. on Locust Ave.
you can find most beaches in washington on the pskite beaches section
parking is either on the side of the road or at the BKB community center (complete with kegorator, boot dryer, fireplace and kite videos) |

Take the lakeway exit off I-5. Get onto lakeway and head west. Lakeway will turn into Holly st. Continue on Holly until it turns into Eldridge. Continue a few more miles and take a left on locust dr. Park by the railroad tracks. Walk under and follow trail down to beach.
I was there last weekend and had a S.I.C.K. session. Flat water, consistent wind... wow flying kites is so brainless when your have consistent wind...  |

| werd, thx for the info. It's funny I went to that spot yesterday evening and wasn't sure I was in the right location, looked like there was some homeless people camped out by the RR bridge. I'll check it out again. |
