HI! I'm Fred. I am a professional photographer living in Mosier.
I'd like to put together an all girl team for the ION photo competition. Why an all girl team? I have a 10 year old little girl that will be on the team and I feel that we need to represent women in a different light than the past competition's photos.
I'm thinking a little dignity combined with true art and less testosterone could be a winning combination. My wonderful wife and business partner Catherine will be the producer on the project. She will take care of all you girls with everything you need from food to towels. She will also be scheduling the photos shoots.
I'd really like to create a work of art. Photography and design are my passion. I have some amazing ideas already and the equipment to pull it off. I'm talking a whole different approach to photography. Everyone on the team will take home photos they will cherish for a lifetime.

Stickers on nipples? Naked girls with logos? That's not really all that original. Although I'm sure it's great for all the young guy's masturbation sessions 
There is a higher level of thought that can be put into photography than just sex. Things like composition, color, lighting and content.
ION wants these photos for marketing purposes. It helps to understand how these photos could be used in the future. What kinds of photos would I want If I designed their website and ads? What would be the best for the client? (ION)
If they end up using your photos in an ad you will get paid. This alone makes it worth while to put some thought into the photos. Think about what kind of a photo would draw your attention to the ad. That's what I want to create.
Not that anyone is going to care. I've been to the event before. Boobs and beaver are going to win. As soon as the beer starts flowing all the horny kiteboarders and windsurfers will start to hoot and holler over all the girls with stickers on their boobs then go home and masturbate.
I don't stand a chance... |

hey fred, don't worry too much over what has been done in the past.
what I like about this contest is it brings me and my friends together to do something FUN in a team environment. While I would love to see some of my work submitted and used by the sponsor, like most others will just be doing it for the love of photography and kiteboarding.
but it would be nice to get $1K
look forward to this weekend.

You said it perfectly! It's all about fun and the love of photography/kiteboarding. Oh yea, and those guys with those funny pole things too. What are they called? Sailsurfers? Windboarders?
9 years ago there were virtually no girls at kite beach. Times have changed. Chicks rip and I'm going to prove it.
Everyone will agree that kite beach is a lot more fun with girls around. Unless of course, you're gay...and I mean the happy kind of gay so I don't offend the guy from last weekend in the one piece white suit. Was that Jake?
Of course if all the girls find out that I'm a weirdo  none of them will join the team. Remember ladies, I've never actually been convicted  . |

Yellar, I had the same thought when looking at the past photos. I was like, well shit, I'll have to import some strippers from Portland if I want a shot at the money.
I have to admit that its easy to fall into the T and A theme but now that you bring up the fact that you have an 11yo girl interested in kiting, I kind of feel like some kind of lecher.  |

In your case I think you guys might do better wearing only stickers on your dicks.
Since you guys only ride in the freezing cold Hood River you could all share a small sticker You might need a telephoto lens to see the logo though. |

| Fred our team won the last time they held it and we def didn't have boob shots and all that. besides its all about capturing the gorge, and its not that warm here the most skin you will see is changing in and out of a wetsuit..lol..its a super fun event! |

I think it's great that you won! You deserved it. I loved some of your concepts. I'm sure you guys will kick our sorry old butts this year too.
I'm going to have to put together a team of old kooks instead of an all girl team. It's still going to be a blast!
