Due to a turf toe injury from having a wave peel a board off my feet the hard way a year ago I am thinking of switching to boots thinking this will not create as much pain for my toes. Never having used boots I am looking for any advice?
Disclaimer: Even if I do switch to boots I will still be a dangling fool |

I really like the Liquid Force Influence 138cm model. It's got the right flex profile and tons of pop, and goes upwind well (some wakestyle boards don't). You'll want a bigger board for boots since you get so much more leverage over the board.
Picking boots is a personal choice. I'm digging stiffer boots this season for more support (Watsons). The Synergy is also a great boot. It's got plenty of flex, but still good support and it's real comfy. Any decent wakeboard boot will work fine though, just make sure the baseplate holes align with the kiteboard holes since there's some different spacing standards for the inserts. Hope this helps. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

| Call me old fashioned, but I really like the LF Unions. Simple, supportive, and comfy. I've got them setup on a Mission 138 if you ever want to try them out. If so, give me a shout and I'll let you know where i'll be. |
