Willow grove can be good. I go there when I don't feel like driving to jones or if jones is nukes out. It only goes if jones is and you have to add in the ripping current for your kite size. I'm mean the current halls balls!!
If you ever want to go pm me and I'll join you.
The wind averages 8 less than what the jones sensor says.
Tons of people on the beach so setup far north on beach |

| I just got back from a scout out with the fam, tons of people but looks good. I am just getting into the sport so I am looking for forgiving places to ride. I have been to Jones and like it, what weather site are you using for jones? Thanks for the input. |

We've recently moved to Longview, and have also been wondering about Willow Point. I've had my kite out there once but haven't gotten in the water yet. Two things concern me about kiting out there, the shipping lane seems awfully close to shore, the rows of pylons, and all the wood on the beach (I guess that would be three). Please let me know if you're heading out there, I'd like to go check it out.
Also, does anyone have any beta on Prescott Beach, a few miles up from Rainier? We checked it out last winter and it looked like it may have some possibilities. |
