I'll be there after work at 5. Hopefully the wind keeps up!! Is fairly steady on the water right now. I got the onsite report.

Where do you launch from at Kalama? I live in NOPO so it's fairly close.

Hey man. It's easy enuf to get to, but hard to explain.. Heading north on I5 I take the Todd Road exit. Hang a left off the exit (west). Keep following this road and it starts to run north south along the river. You eventually see a park area along the river after about 2-3 miles ahead (picnic tables, horseshoe pits etc.) Great grassy area to launch and land with a narrower sandy beach. If you hit the boat launch area you've passed it.

from my experience if the forecast is 9 north or better it is good riding! a nw will also work but will be flukier.
