You and your buddy are on the beach ready to go. You launch your buddies kite and then you get ready to launch yours.

Here is what I've learned from launching kites while flying my own.

1. Approach the launch point and set your board on the beach(launcher).
2. Make sure your buddy has the kite and lines at the right angle(launcher).
3. Make sure your buddy has cleared his lines so you don't have mess with snags. You may dump your kite, and this is launchee responsibility.
4. Have your friend bring the kite out to you. (I like to put a leash or beaner on a rope and secure it to the chicken loop to something really dam heavy. This pulls the lines clear as I take the kite to my buddy(this is also a good way to self launch if nobody is around). Then if there is a snag, and there usually is,the launchee can run down and clear it, whilst returning to the bar)

***Assuming all has gone well to this point: your buddy is controlling his and your kite comfortably, and the lines are clear. You are ready to launch!!

The moment of truth has arrived! When you launch your buddies kite, launcher, you want to put your kite at 10 o clock in the wind window. As you look at your kite, feel the wind in the launchee's kite and then LAUNCH IT!

OK, so what are some of the issues that you NWkiters have had with this scenario?
Have I left out any key information?

the key to the simu-launch is communication - I prefer a 300 word solilique (others go longer)

sometimes best avoided if gusting 40...
