| Solo session at Jones beach overpowered on a 9m. I'm not sure if it is always that good or if I just got lucky. My first time riding there. Oregon side was pretty up and down but the WA. side was just up. North side of the Island has some pretty sick butter patches too. The only thing no one told me about was the hordes of Red necks on quads dirt bikes. |

Yeah, Jones is like that a lot.  Definitely one of my favorite places. Glad you scored a great session!
Most (not all) of the quad riders are pretty good folks. Try and rig your gear behind your vehicle. Most of the riders won't knowingly run over your lines, but can't keep track of where they are either. Most weekdays aren't bad, but with the holiday weekend I'm sure the place is overrun with quads for a few days.  |

| i'm a big jones fan too. The fisherman are the ones to watch out there. Every spot has its' thing though. |

Epic conditions this afternoon (Sunday). No crowds, only 6 kites on the water. Lit up on my new 11m from about 1-4, picked up to 9m afterward but by then I was burnt.

Ran my 9 in the afternoon lit and it just kept coming into the evening. I left at 6:30 as I was beat. Jones was the money s&%t to day.
