South winds are gusty, but NW side shore conditions are the bomb. I'm not sure where you are going on the coast but Klatsop Spit is da shizzle de nizzle on summer days when east winds build here in the gorge. I windsurf does a good job of predicting winds, but just keep your eyes peeled for High pressure set ups along the coast.
