OR Coast Kite Scene? I'll be in Gold Beach for work for the next 5-6 weeks. I know Flores, but heard Pistol River was good. Is it very popular or will I mostly be kiting alone? Any other spots I should check out? I'll be rockin' the three day weekends so plan on playing hard. Also bringing surfboard, mt. bike, and tent. Any info will be helpful. Up at Cape Sebastian there's a nice reef, Pistol's beach is steep and its shorebreak dumps pretty heavy, nice! I think you'll be alone. If its blowing hard, and it typically does, you'll be joined by a bunch of windsurfers. My family and I will be heading up the coast from Norcal in late June.
