I'll be in Gold Beach for work for the next 5-6 weeks. I know Flores, but heard Pistol River was good. Is it very popular or will I mostly be kiting alone? Any other spots I should check out?

I'll be rockin' the three day weekends so plan on playing hard. Also bringing surfboard, mt. bike, and tent. Any info will be helpful. Thanx

Jealous!! Mr. Green Nice tour of duty. I'm sure you'll get lots of info here but Pistol/Cape Sebastian are really good. Up at Cape Sebastian there's a nice reef, Pistol's beach is steep and its shorebreak dumps pretty heavy, nice!

I think you'll be alone. If its blowing hard, and it typically does, you'll be joined by a bunch of windsurfers.

My family and I will be heading up the coast from Norcal in late June. I'll pm you maybe you can give me a heads up on the conditions.

thanks for the props kyle.

Yea,..if your not willing to swim with whitey, Better stay in the river. That area is pretty popular for shark sightings. Myself included...

I'll be in texas until the 11th, But if your still down there i'll come and ride with you. Hope you have a great time,
matty (sol)
