Yeah, I have been trying to decide if i should get one or not
Big drawback of the pistol grip is loss of zoom I would think.

Yeah but you really don't use zoom at all with the waterpoof cam, most of the time you are where the action is at. Also the zoom makes the shaking worse so its even harder to hold the cam steady.

The sanyo camera is great. The only thing it needs is a viewfinder that you can also look through as shooting video on the water with full sun on the lcd can be 'challenging.'

nice vid man.... Yeah, we had the same camera and someone loved it so much they bought it off of us, so we are going to get a new one! Would love to have it for hatteras... The camera was the reason for jim slicing his hand open in Brazil...
