So I got tired of getting kinks and pin holes in those cheap plastic hoses that come with most kiting pumps. I took Hein's advice and went to home depot to see what they had. I got a PVC pipe - 1" by 3/4" and then cut off the two ends of the beat up hose and glued them into the PVC piping. Pretty simple job and it works!! A couple of recomendations:

Get the PVC that doesn't have the braided vinyl - its too heavy and the nozzle seems to come out of the bladder more often.

Before you glue it in place try out the position of the part that attaches to the pump. If you have it in the opposite place as the natural direction of the piping (the piping is sold all coiled up - and wants to continue to coil on itself) then it will be hard to keep the nozzle in the bladder.

I used gorilla glue and that seems to be working just fine.

I still have half left - it is either for a beer funnel or if someone else needs a hose that doesn't want any holes.

Great idea and great execution!

Picked up one of these at Amazon.com... If you don't want to make your own this is a great upgrade. VERY heavy duty. Tons better than stock. Especially for traveling. I like to vacuum pack my kites, but the stock air line collapses. Not this line.

Made these for NSI back in 2003. None of the OEM pumps had guages back then. I used a CPVC street elbow at the pump and CPVC glue to bond the hose in. Fill nipple is a barb to barb fitting with the barbs turned off on one end. Still got some leftover elbows and hose if you want some.
