Just a reminder. This Thursday April 30th is the LAST day to launch and land for this year. It was a good month with both windsurfers and kiters getting along very well. Hopefully that's a sign of things to come. We are both water men after all.

Due to the CGKA's on going fight for your rights to launch, We will be able to pump and dry (no launching or landing during the summer) the kites in a section on the far east end. This is now a year round deal.

Please help us by being responsible and getting your kite pumped or dried as quick as possible and being courteous to others.

Also if you can send me pics of the event site being used by us and how many more kites are on the water than windsurfers, I can bring that up to the August port meeting. Maybe we can make our section bigger!

Thanks
Mark

Damn--gonna miss that green lawn and EZ launch. Thanks to CGKA for their efforts. I would love to get May and September added to our access rights--certainly Monday through Friday. Still mostly locals and mostly not very crowded.

...Generally avoid the reflexive think->post, but on this subject, my brain must spill it's contents. Keeping-in-mind, a permanent piece of the Event site is something we haven't had in 10 seasons of kiting in the gorge...me thinks Ali G would say "respec' to the CGKA."

slightly OT: "Techmology";

Thanks for the kind words. Good ideas on the midweek sessions. We welcome ideas like that at our meetings.

Remember to PM me or better yet post pics (in the CGKA section) of the eventsite showing us with our kites in the designated area and the rest of the eventsite being bare.... Also pics of the ratio of kiters on the water to windsurfers.

Thanks again
Mark
