A couple of us students at the UO in Eugene are working on a powerkiting piece. The Journalism school puts out a magazine once a year with a bunch of cool stuff and not just for print. We want photos and a multimedia piece!
Anyone want to spend a day at their favorite spot while on camera?
It would be a blast for both parties!
Let me know as soon as you can!
Have a great week,
Lez

i can't imagine that any kiteboarder would want to have someone follow them around and take pictures of them.

You should PM spike. he's down in your area and has a bright helmet that would look good on camera. Laughing Laughing

that's sweet LezBot,
I think it's great that your doing an article about kiting. If i wasn't leaving for texas soon i'd definetly get in touch. This could be a great way get some positive exposure for the wilderness ban as well.
it would truly be a blessing if you could find somewhere in your article to include information about the current wilderness issue and maybe put up a link to the petition:http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/Snowkite-Access-in-Jeopardy

I'll email you, I have some other things i'd like to discuss. Smile

We are trying to get a solid group for this weekend if anyone can do it. I'm sorry it's such late notice but it would be amazing if someone could hang out with us on Friday (the weather is supposed to be nicer).

pdxmonkeyboy- who's spike? It would be rad to get in contact with him.

space is super tight regarding adding info about the wilderness battle but I'll see what I can do!

Thanks for help so far

prolly pretty hard to get some pics on your time
the wind only works on it's own time
theres nothing in the valley
unless the occasianal blow at fern ridge is captured
may be some action at the N. jetty in Florence on sat
if the south wind arrives as projected

there's a pic of me in the lane county visitors guide
you could use that one Wink

Fembots scare me. Austin Powers nearly died because of them!
It's lezboot. It's a joke from ol camp stuff.

If anyone wants to go to some beach friday to meet up, with the chance there might be wind (or no wind), then I'd love to set something up with you.

Fern ridge is dicey, a friend is on the sailing team and they don't always get to practice when they unload all the gear. I'll keep my fingers crossed for mother nature to let us have some fun

might have to drive up to Rooster....

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 69. East wind between 16 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

might get some interesting photos.. Wink
