I need to glue some footpads down. Should I just use rubber cement or is there something better?

Thanks.

Boots bolt down.

LOL. I used spray glue once and it didn't work well at all.

A good contact cement is probably your best bet. Much better than rubber cement. You coat the pad and the board, let them dry and stock them together. line it up good before hand because once its stuck...its really stuck.

So I just got some used boards that had glued on footpads. They hadn't been used in a while and the pads are starting to peel off. What is the best way to get it completely off without ruining the board? I want to put some regular screw-in pads.

I used contact cement to re-glue the footpads on an old slingshot board. The pads are still holding on strong. Just make sure you follow the directions on the can to the letter. Oh, and get the can with the built in brush. It'll make life much easier!!

I use Goof Off to remove the harshest glues! Always works like a charm!!

Contact cement is your best choice, make sure to use sandpaper and sand it off first before applying for much better contact..
