Damn!! Wish I had noticed earlier!!
Have some new boards to ride and everything, but a little late to head out there now. Maybe it will fill in in HR for some afternoon delight. _________________ Liquid Force Kiteboarding in the Pacific Northwest.

BLOODY HELL!!!!
I went to the coast on Monday, thinking to my self its going to be perfect for Surfing. Mellow wave for a Newby and no wind, right?
WRONG!!! The waves kicked my ASS and I didn't bring my kite gear. What a F@#$ing idiot I am.
Note to self: never leave your kite gear at home......even if NOAA forcasts a calm no wind day.
It looked really good and I was at Cape Kawanda.
Anybody kited that spot. I didnt think it would good with the point but I felt pretty stong, blowen sand on all tha hotties laying on the beach......It was cold and they were still laying out in the blowing sand trying to get a tan.........it was cold.......did I say it was cold I really like that beach from a new surfers perspective. |

McPhillips on a northerly is a rad spot. If its gusting over 30 watch out! There is a spot about 100 yards out that will lift you without warning and wont let go of you till you ***t your suit. Ive gotten in it twice. The first time was a hanger for over 20 seconds and the crowd on the beach thought I was headed over the cape. Something in the air there man. _________________ Mental attitude is more important than mental capacity |

TF--
PC is the shit for surfing. and not a mellow wave if the tide is right and it's a true 6 or 7 feet. I've done the northerlies there a few times, short downwinder to the turnaround.
getting to surf and then kite PC (even though it is fluky kiting on northerlies) is my ultimate "daily double" since i'm not much of a snow/mountain guy! |

Got out late ---between sunset and iredale.
It was really low tide...waves were pretty junky but the wind was good.
Looks to be good today.
