Hi all,
Thanks for the kind words.
My friend Al had a good suggestion - we should get one of those wind speed flags and put it on top of that pole! I'll leave that up to you guys.

huh, a worthless Sauvie forecast?!?!? Who would have thunk it. Kramer was bugging the crap out of ikite about the sauvie sensor. I tired for years and basically said screw it, its never going to happen. I even started looking into setting up a private sensor but got boged down in the technical details.

Doesn't a wireless system have to eventually hook into a hard line somewhere? Or is there such a thing as satellite internet? Or would a remote sensor just hook use a telephone number to call in and report every 10 minutes. Don't need a camera, just a decent wind gauge.

Lets all just cross our fingers that this doesn't last until July like last year.
