Does the Camas ever get much of a snowpack, or is it just constantly snowing/melting/snowing through the winter?

Pretty much just gobbly gook out there now with a side of shiznastikoff's but the Little Camas Res is holding a super slushy pond skim opportunity if anyone has the cajones to kiteskim across 140 yards of slush puppie consistency poop snow!

Time to bust out the wetsuits and head to Lake Lowell and CJ Strike our weak a** summer kite spots.....you Gorge guys/gals and Coasters have the market cornered on H20 Kiting. Wishin' it was winter again, already!

did anyone see the article in the oregonian yesterday on the snowkiting ban? pretty good read and they got most of it right but, they can't actually tell us why the ban will happen other than there should be no 'mechanized aid' in a wilderness area.
