Kite-Line And Eclipse Floras Lake Campout May 15 - 17

Campout and demo day at Floras Lake with Eclipse and the boys from SOKA moved to May 15 - 17. Talked with Matt and he said conditions are lining up in Southern Oregon, so since we didn't get much interest for last weekend, we thought this would be a better time.

It will be a great time for sure, and we will be packing up the grills and coolers for nightly bbq's. We will have Eclipse's latest gear on hand including the 09' boards. SOKA will also have their slider for you wake boys. Down winders at Whiskey Run will also be happening.

If we can get a tentative headcount it will help us gauge how much stuff we need to bring.

Looking forward to a great time in Southern Oregon.

hey everyone,

I wanted to chime in on here on mention this is going to be a bad ass camp trip. So make sure to come out and get some coastal goodness via SOKA style. We plan on some amazing area's to ride and insane downwinders.

This might be pushed to the following weekend (04/24 - 26) depending on weather, but who plans on going and is one weekend better than another? It will be a blast no matter what.

Lack of wind and it probably being too early, we are moving this to sometime in May or June. We will tentatively be having a demo day at Roosevelt May 2, so as we get closer, we will call it.

just spoke with the weather guy--- he says not much wind on the columbia this weekend at all. Possibly East on Sunday.

where's the best forecasts for floras? we're heading down memorial day weekend (ironic since i'm from canada). could kite anywhere from seaside down to floras, keen to learn more about forecasts & conditions and play it by ear.

We once again had to reschedule this because of wind, so we are going with either June 26 - 29, or July 3 - 5, so we will wait until we get closer to those dates to actually finally make this work.

Original forecast didn't look promising and most people are in other places and not yet ready it seems to make the trip there, so we are planning it closer to summer. We will have a better idea later.

Just a heads up, The S.O.K.A. crew will be doing freestyle/slider clinics during the morning of each day, during the demo. If your stuck in your progression and need to learn something new, this would be a great oppritunity to dail in those tricks you've always wanted to attempt.
