Kelt and I hit SI this afternoon.
Kelt was powered up on a 14M RPM and he was able to stay upwind easily, do backrolls, etc. I could occasionally stay up wind, but not consistently. I should have brought a 15M for myself.
No hoods, booties or gloves required. Sunny and warm. Nice flat water. Good power in the wind even tho it was probably only blowing 10-12mph. Nice and lifty.
We took some vids and I'll post something after I upload to youtube, but most the files are about 500Mb and need editing.

Sounds good! It looked like it was setting up to happen, don't need much this time of year with so much current.
Guess Portland Pete is our contest winner, he guessed 4/5 and we do closest guess thats still before the date (if not the exact date.) |
