Anyone thinking of going to the coast this weekend? Was trying to get to Florence but as of now, forecast doesn't look great, but if it goes, I would like to hit it

Would love to. Not as far south as Florence though. Any idea what the northern beaches look like? Those guys know how to party.

Dude, it's all about the Fusion pass next year, Meadows can suck a fat one. Their powder isn't worth it.

Sucks, Forrest, but I was really thinking about that too.

When the snow is good, both Meadows and Ski Bowl have good snow... Skibowl has some amazing terrain if powder is your thing. Timberline has a good park with a more reliable operation to keep it good. Meadow's park maintenance is appalling and the park is good about as much as the snow is good.

Does T-line offer a discount with a Meadows pass? I'm tempted to go there for a day this month to test their park and see how the resort compares. I haven't been there since high school or something like that so want to make sure they're offering something better before committing to a year of it.

Dude, it's better, but you can't really form an opinion on just one day of riding... One caveat about Timberline is that when it's stormy, it sucks there because most of it is above the timber line so you get hit by the weather head on.

I don't know of any discount.

Sorry for the tread hijack....have fun at the coast this weekend if you go.

I have been buying pass at Meadows for years but I think I am done with it. Had more fun hitting Skibowl on the $14 ladies nights then Meadows.

I have been thinking of just skipping the passes all together and snowkiting Idaho a bunch more.

$440 for a pass (which will prob go up next yr) = 4 weekend trips to Idaho, miles of powder and no lift lines Very Happy

Get a pass for Bachelor, way better than all those resorts, although, hats off to Ski Bowl when it has enough snow, its cold and there is fresh powder. . .
