I had an amazing session yesterday and it made me realize how truly blessed we
are to have all these different area's to ride in such a close proximity

where else can one go from riding a river, then the ocean, and the best flat water Question

sorry, no action shots...to busy riding

i think today i'll go snowkiting....

SOOOOOO TRUE!! Where else can you live in such close proximity to rivers, oceans and mountains!! And all accessible with in a few hours of driving!! Man we're lucky!! Sweet pics. Looks like your session rocked! I'm all fired up now!! Haven't got the chance to kite yet as it seems to be blowing on my working days (the weekends)!! I might head out in search of wind this Monday, I just can't take it anymore!! I gotta get me some!!!
Where were you by the way?? Floras Lake?? Looks like you had some flat water/wave action!!
keep those pics coming!!!

yup,...we ended up at floras since everywhere south was too windy. If your just learning floras lake is a great place but right now its cold, and the water is really high so there is no touching bottom. normally i'd say this is a good thing but not when the lake is setup for "offshore" style riding.

I think we may do a floras camp trip early april if anyone is interested? just waiting for a good stretch of northerly's

I totally need to visit floras at some point. From what you're saying the set up seems to be sweet. Such close access to both flat water and waves is really great!! A buddy of mine is still learning so probably the lakes' flats would be his new best friend!!

Would be interested in Floras camp! That is if I can make it out. I work on the weekends and have Mondays and Tuesdays off, so it's hard to synch with other weekend warriors! Let me/us know if you decide on the camp and I'll try to make it out there.

Which wind sensor do you use for Floras? Does it blow there consistently?

P.S. Scored my 1st sesh yesterday at Lyle's! Epic conditions, sunny, blowing strong but on the cold side. Was riding solo at 1st than 2 other kiters joined. Super stoked!!!
