Dude, that red stripe can be some serious shit!! Good thing that you got it taken care of.

I was camping in the jungle for like three weeks and popped a blood blister on my toe. Next morning, super high fever and big red stripe up my leg. I hiked out to the local "doctor" who said "ohh, just take some antibiotics" . Feeling a little uneasy, I called the peace corps nurse and they sent a military helicopter to come get me that day.

yikes!

I think it was probably some seaside bitch that bit him. He always warned us to look out for the local girls. Razz

yeah I checked my karma account, it's doing well, i was relocating the dog for my grandma. -thanks jahmbi (karma master)

It took 5-8 hrs for the stripe to show. Location of bite, del ray beach gearhart.

I had a stick in my foot caused one of those up my ankle, dr. stef pulled out stick and it was better instantly.

I had a surgery to drain bacteria pocket.
Docs said all kind of dooms day stuff, but it responded well to treatment.
They said they weren't surprised until 18hrs later when it'd worsened after 16hrs of antibiotics.

thanks for the concern and advice, life isn't a mother fn long time and there is lots to learn to get everyday out of it.

Hey, don't feel bad. I stuck my self with a mig welder at work once. A tinny little prick. That's all it took. The next day my thumb was twice as big. Told the boss about it. He told me to get it checked out after work. I work 10 hrs a day. by the end of the shift, I had a streak all the way to the elbow. Yup blood poisoning. All this from a little stick by a hot wire. Guess what. The next day I was suppose to take off for a week on vacation. Every thing paid for. Guess what. The hospital wouldn't let me leave. I got hospitalized for 4 days. bad blood poisoning. They couldn't get it under control. 3 surgeries later and a lot of Ivy's and I lived. Almost died because of a .035 hole. At least you didn't have a bunch of money invested in a vacation. I had to cancel the whole thing. It really sucked. And the surgeries where painfull. I had to deal with a bunch of idiots. Sought you might want to hear about that one. Later.
