Wed Mar 18, 09 11:04 am Surfboard pads? |
|
|
Hi all,
I've been thinking about putting some sort of pad/strap system on my surfboard. I looked at the NSI website and they have alot to offer. Can anyone give me a suggestion as to the best setup? I could use some help on where to place the straps. It's a 7'2" egg-shaped board, and I'll be using it on lakes so no waves
I want to be able to take off the straps when I want and see if I can learn the whole strapless thing.
Thanks,
Jeremy |

| i think the NSI system is going to be the best bet for adding straps. in terms of position, you want to put them where your feet would normally go. In all honesty though, learning to jibe is going to be easier without the straps. i'm by no stretch of the imagination the surfboard king but it is ALLOT more fun to ride a surfboard without the straps...especially if your not going to need to hop over waves and foam to get out to the break. |

| Proper rear foot placement needs to be just in front of the leading edge of the rear fin/s |

Thanks for feedback guys. I'm going with NSI's Surf Pad System.
