Sorry for the confusion. $200 each way. Check Alaskaair.com, Wednesday to Wednesday. Travelocity also has a bunch of flights at just under $200 each way - United, Alaska, and U.S. Air. Flying to La Paz is about $80 more each way.
They had some deals for $150 each way on Alaska, but those seem to be gone for now.
Good news is the peso is at around 15 to the dollar, so meals and beer in Baja are amazingly cheep! |

Ok, I was like WHAT!! $200, I just paid $550 rt to LAP. It seems kind of silly to fly to Cabo unless you get a smoking deal, you'll pay another 80-100 bucks to get from there to LaV.
Anyways, I'll be back to LV in 2011. |

Dang, I wish flights were less, we paid 300 to cabo and had 4 people in a truck, pretty cheap!
Seems like those prices are gone! |

Been in LV for the last week at Baja Joes. It has been great! 10 more days to go. My flight was about $500 on Alaska, plus all the extra taxes, fees etc - more like $575, then $50 for my airwagon (65 lbs). $80 cab fare to LV. I have heard from some people that go to Cabo, rent a car and drive to LV and its cheaper, but its really a push after doing the math. Traveling here is expensive, but staying here is reasonable. Food is cheap and really good. The people here are really amazing. A really good vibe.
Don't cheap out on baggage fees - you will need ALL your kites & boards.
No car needed unless you want to go to the coast for a big wave session.
