I for one am bummed out to hear that there will be no Gorge Games this year. I thought the Saturday Kitboarding events were the best ever witnessed in HR. Some of the best competitors from the US and overseas. In particular, the big air competition was the most impressive spectator event I've witnessed at the event site. It was great to see amatures and professional showcasing this sport before a large crowd. Sorry it won't be repeated this summer.

Agreed man! I will miss all the homies coming in from all over for the event! It was unique on the competitor pull. Totally bummed! But in a way I am kinda glad to see it die and wither away in the wind. Now is the time to spark a new event with new stoke and get back to the straight up grass roots throwdowns like the BOTG! I would think it would be simple to do if we got away from the G.G. name and what not... This sucks and is clearly a huge mistake not to have a different event in it's place! |
