Flew in from Osaka Yesterday morning, landed at 9:04, riding by 10:30. Kailua really put out!  11m wind all day yesterday, 9m this morning. (Rode from just before dawn til 8:30. Now off to Tokyo.
Sorry about the picture quality. Phone camera, and everyone rides a long way from shore...

Not yet... Too big to carry while I'm on a trip. Joanne & I are heading over after the party though. I get home this Thursday; if I can find a suitable bag for it on Friday I'm bringing it over then.

| Mike, I realize that it's pretty far out, but would you happen to know if you're going to be over there again between August 25th and September 1st? My friend who's originally from Kaneohe is getting married on the 29th, so I'm taking all my gear! Haven't ridden Kailua since '03!

Hey Adam! No, I won't know that till mid July... I'll try and bid it though, be fun to hook up over here! I'm back in Kailua right now, staying till Friday morning. Forecast is pretty iffy through Wed, Thursday looks good. Saturday looks nuclear! Of course, I won't be here on Saturday.

Hey Alex!
Joanne & I are around for a couple of days yet. Hopefully the forecast stays good for Thursday! Joanne leaves Thursday night & I head to Osaka Friday. (I'll get in a couple of hours Friday morning before I leave, Dawn Patrol...) I'll be back Sunday Morning for another 24 hours. Sunday should be fricking awesome! Are you going to be around?
OT, you don't know anyone with a 4 lug wheel off of a civic do you? LOL I bent a rim & can't find one anywhere on the island!!! Any cheap wheel would do, I'm running on the little emergency spare right now. Kind of limits what we can do on the no wind days...

I'll be there...
I know nothing about cars...I did get a flat in Waimanalo way back and the guy in the convenience store by coincidence had a whole tire changing machine in the back and tonns of tires..so he just gave me one...it was a pretty weird and awesome at the same time.
Anyhoo, I probably will not make it over the dawn patrol, but maybe early enough...depends on how much work I get done today...

Yea looks like that ....80' air temp and no wetsuit maybe a spring,
warm water and sometimes wind
hit or miss,
last week 5 days 4 20-24 knots
