Sol ,

Noah's son attends the Uof O, so years ago, when he was dropping him off he had this unfortunate event happen from a hotel.

Where did you dig this up and why repost it. geez I believe it was two years ago.

Unless this happened again, which I am sure Noah takes more porecautions to prevent. He is a smart guy. I met Noah at Haggin in 05 and we watched for this stuff.

We figured the place it would show would be Floras. Twisted Evil

It was probably some activists trying to keep him from kiting in the wilderness.

Thanks for looking out for me, even years later. Yes, I'm super-careful when traveling in urban areas (outside of MT, ID, WY...).

Hope to see some NW kiters at the 6th Montana Snowkite Rodeo - anyone going to come to Montana for this great event? It's all at Haggin this year - an epic snowkite event: By kiters, for kiters.

Give me a shout
if you are coming out, I may need a kite or two from delivered from Portland.

Thanks!

BTW, I kited Mount Haggin yesterday and had a ripping day, I flew an 8m all day and some guys were out on sixes and sevens! Last Wednesday, I hit Big Hole Pass (just past Haggin), also an 8m day. Montana is having another great winter!

Also, check out Joe Irons vid from kiting Montana last week on kiteforum:

See ya out there,

Noah

FYI, Maybe it's how I interpret this ad, but it looks like someone is trying to sell some stolen kites on Craigslist in the Salem area.

I contacted this guy today and he has NO idea. Is VERY suspect at best.

Doesn't know the brands. He said Umm, like 30 times, and nervously coughed throughout the 3 min. conversation.

-Said " Im not first owner " duh, " I think one of them is a fuel. " " The sizes I put on there are approximate they could be bigger than that, I think they are like 12 'FEET ' long ?" "The little one pulls me off the ground like 20 feet up when I used it in a field ". Claims to have not EVER used them on the water.

Who buys 3 large kites and doesnt know how to fly them, has never been on water, and has no idea what brands or size they are....hmmmm.

He said he would send me photos of the kites by E-mail today. Will post here if I get anything.
