hey i just got the new kiteboarding mag and saw the new Slingshot RPM kite. Has any one flown this kite yet, or heard anything about it? it looks to me like its pretty much like a bridled fuel and is kinda in between the rev and the fuel with its speed and handling.

They have the new RPM down here. I think you summed it up. Looks pretty good.

RPM's are south of the boarder.

Had the 8,10,12,14 out so far and the kites rock! All the feel of the C-kite but all the range and versatility of the Rev.

The kite is becoming a hit one demo at a time. And thats really the truth and not the shots!

Anyway GRom got to ride the 14M and I have been on the 10 and 14.

Check it. More photos to come but here are a couple now.

Cheers,

Not bad, is it a direct steering SLE?

Hey there's a paraglider in the pic named 2.jpg. Was that a powered paraglider or is there a launch for unpowered paragliders in La Ventana?

Forrest,
Yes! The rear lines attach to a pigtail that is about 10" (for the 14m) and the pigtail is attached straight to the kite. I have one in my bag all folded up nice for the trip to FL. I will take pictures of it when I am there.

I hear through the grapevine that there were some RPM's at the Bend Snowkite.
Any reviews?

Yes, we had RPMs up at the event in Bend. I need some time on the water riding them in order to give an accurate review. I am not an experienced enough snow kiter to give a review based on my time on the snow with the RPM.

I will be in Florida next week and should be able to give you the scoop after that.
