Thanks to all that came out and participated in the event. Thanks also to all the riders who were so understanding on Saturday as we had to cancel the day due to sled and boat issues. It was a great time and so cool to see everyone there at the party and able to get sessions in on Sunday. Thanks also to all the sponsors who contributed schwag to the cause and those reps that came down: Amery and Jeff (SS), Ashlee (Naish), Ken (Cabrinha and Snow Affair) , Matt and Jason (SOKA), Frank (Elk Lake Resort), Aaron Sales (Kiteboarding Magazine), and Michael Giebelhaus (Kite-Line)

A huge thanks to Darrell Elliott (workhorse for the whole sled team), Nick (snowmobile support and soon to be kiter), Jay and Niel (snowmobile support from Vancouver), Stacey (Tim's wife and shuttle support), Katie (raffle support and just core girlfriend support), core group of BKC, Steve O, Brent, Cale, and Kirk, for support and event site preparation, and Tim Carlson for putting this thing on in the first place and worked his ass off getting people together, and only got to ride one time. You get first session this weekend and first beer.

It was awesome to meet everyone and make new connections.

We will post pictures when we get them.

Thanks again, and we can't wait for the next one, hopefully with a permitted snowcat, so stay tuned on it. Thanks for coming to Central Oregon and kiting as it was a great time.

BKC,

You guys have put Bald Butte on the map for one of the premiere Snowkiting spots in the country! The BKC vibe is so welcoming and your unselffishness to get everyone out there was super cool.

Bald Butte is simply ridiculous when it comes to experiencing big mtn snowkiting. Steep terrain, vast open bowls, sold wind fetch, and the exploring deep into wilderness area are endless.

It as great getting to meet all of you, and catching up with old snowkite friends a crossed the region, and I hope we can keep this place rolling for a long time.

What an amazing weekend! Thank You is not enough! Getting there was almost as fun as the kiting. I think the cooperation from everyone was outstanding.

I think Tim's magic eight ball is stellar. When I talked to him earlier in the week he stated that the wind will be light Fri and Sat with the best winds in Sunday. Indeed the wind was best on Sunday.

There are too many people to thank and give credit to for such a great time. I hope that everyone walked away with the same good feeling as I did. I feel blessed to have gotten to experience such a great place and meet such great people.

You have a great spot there! BKC were great hosts and it was fun to watch some serious snowkiters throwing it down!
