I'm saying I'm not a follower and I got a pass to timberline and Ski Bowl, cause I don't feel like waiting in line for everyone and their brother!!!!! Plus Ski Bowl has the steepest hill on Mount Hood!!!! Duh!!!!

You make your waiting time back on the QUADs for sure. Plus all the good shit is at a undisclosed area on HRM.

ski bowl if for high schoolers and people who like to ride the slowest lifts on the mountain to access melting snow.

Meadows has got the best terrain on mt. hood period. I'm not saying its open much but hit super bowl on a decent snow day and then lets hear you sing the praises of ski hole.

Double black diamond runs at meadows? I don't think so.
In a real double black--"They won't let you up with rental skis".
West Face of KT-22 @ Squaw makes A-zone look like a bunny hill.

Let me say this, I kinda think Bonetti has a point on this one - about not standing in line @ the lifts...I think the last 12 times I've been at ski bowl (mostly on the evening runs), I probably waited no more than a few minutes in line before sitting my butt on the chair...
The way I see it, I go up to the mountain to ride...If I'm spending more time waiting in line - than riding on the slopes, than somethings wrong...Everytime, I've been to meadows, I always waited in line and that sucks...It's like waiting for the wind to pick up...Standing in long lines at the lifts is like kiting at Sauvies (oh shit, here comes a puff..!) Fu** that, I wanna ride every freak'n minute I'm there....

Thats what I'm saying....

Nobody should ever go to skibowl.
Especially not on powder days.
Whatever you do, avoid the upper bowl because there are way too many trees and rocks.
Poor ol' riblet can't handle it with 2 guys on the her, the last thing she needs is a bunch of full loads Wink

besides, there's no chicks on the lift to ooh and ahh when you stop and wait on top of a drop under the lift only to chipe out and eat shit trying to make it down the easy way, scraping all the snow out of the landing in the process...

What about Meadows on a week day? Or does everyone on here work Monday through Friday, 8-5? Wink Laughing

I agree with the line shit and try NOT to ride weekends, but most of my friends from college (the ones that I ride with most) have shitty jobs and can't get off during the week, so I'll go up every now and then. Week days usually never have a line more than a minute or 2, if that.

upper heather is pretty good but then you get to the run out and it is three lifts to get back
and that is if it is open which they never do after a good dump

but ya ski bowl sucks--no one should go there--i agree with andrew
