The slider was..ummm..Dumb so we put the kites in the air. I got a couple of midly amusing tacks with my B3. Jake got on his 6m for some cautious runs and Blake got lofted while launching the 5m. Decided it was just too gusty to make it worthwhile. Kiting in 5 to 35k can be a little challenging. alien Since 01 Aug 2006 114 Posts Portland Stoked Sun Dec 21, 08 11:46 am     I live a block from Fernhill and have been watching/waiting for the right conditions since this stuff started. Walked over to scout things out last night around 9:00, considered giving it a shot, but things looked pretty gusty/unpredictable to put a kite up solo considering the trees/fences that are downwind.
