When they do open they better start opening at 7:30 or 8:00 AM again like they did in the past. It's only fair so the pass holders can make up for lost time.

Boy that was great! I know there is alot of contention about it-- They took a poll last year of season passholders and oddly enough people voted for 9am opening Mad

They said they took a poll and then reported results that favored them saving money by opening later. That is a bit odd, isn't it? Maybe we should do our own poll. Or better yet start one of those online petitions. Power to the pass holders!!

$100 bike wouldn't make it 5 minutes before it bent a rim. Plus, you need at least 5 inches of travel on your suspension and 7 inch brake disks to be able to stop to have a good time doing downhill.

Craigslist, Forrest! There is always a deal on Craigslist. Did you know that Ebay bought a 20% stake in Craigslist?

Google this: mountain bike suspension Craigslist

No, that's kinda weird... Wonder when they're going to start charging for ads.

Yea, there are good deals, but I actually don't care enough about biking to spend even 1000. The HR skatepark has been keeping me busy, mostly nursing sprained ankles... Smile

Motors are good. but you better have some insurance. Plus you don't want to be in a cast when the lifts open. Are we far enough off topic now?

it seems like the really dry years "our" storms end up in CA instead. pretty sure 00-01 and 04-05 were dry here but wet down there, esp in SoCal.

what's going on this year? is the whole west coast dry, or are the storms just routing around us?

The meteorologists predicted that we were going to get an early start to the season with above average snowfall... Well, since they fucked up on the first part, let's hope they got the second part right.

Back to back La Nina is what I heard a few weeks ago... But I remember Matt Zafino said 30% of La Nina years are drier than average and 70% are wetter than average.

Zaffino doesn't have time to put together a coherent weather forecast because he's too busy pimpin the ladies. Play on, player, play on.
