I wanted to pick up a mystic shortie for LV as my shorty is just about dead. Can't decide between a large and XL and would rather buy local.

PDX, if nobody carries them locally, you might want to try on my Mystic wetsuit... It's a large, and I'm a lot larger than you. Very Happy

By the way, it's a 5/3 full suit, and it is a great wetsuit.

Gorge performance had some Mystics last time I was there. I picked up one of their shortlegs so I could be cool like Ruben. That didn't work, but the wetsuit is great.

Hey Monkeyboy:

We carried Mystic this summer, but were only able to receive the Full 5/3 suits and Shortsleeve longleg 3mm suits, which are on closeout right not.

Sorry, but no longarm shorties from Mystic.
We likely will not be carrying Mystic anymore due to shipping and invoicing issues, but this Spring will be stocking the new Hyperflex longarm shorties, both regular zip and short zip.

Gorge Performance or Seattle Kiteboard Center might have better luck with Mystic than we did, so either might be able to fulfill your needs.

Thanks
Pepi

some have been telling me that the Mystic quality is a little suspect. Some of the promotion wetsuits made in HR look pretty decent with that wind proof deal. Any suggestions>?

Looking for a shortie or perhaps a short sleeve 3/4 leg.

Promotion is the bomb! They take the time to measure you and help fit you into the right suit. They also have several suits made just for kiting. Stretchy and windproof sections.

You should check them out.

See pic. (was wearing a windskin under this suit so it wasnt fitting like it does in a bit warmer weather.)

Great suit.

Promotion has a kite specific 4/3 three-quarters suit. It's pretty baddass, I know Rico got one. Free repairs that day for life of the suit, and 10% discount for CGKA members!

My Mystic Steamer is dead after two season. I'm pretty hard on my suits but I feel that I got my $200 worth out of the suit. I can't complain, it was very warm and nice suit for the price.

I'll be rocking the Hyperflex suits next year, just want to try one out.

It probably isn't the best suit for this time of year, but I'd imagine it's perfect for May-June.
