Don’t miss "Da-Boat",
Parking, all parcicipants without snowmobiles will park in the NE Corner of Mt. Bachelor Parking lot by the Nordic Center. The Maroone Shuttle Suburban with an OZONE flag will pick you up and take you to the snowmobile pickup area at Dutchman Flats. We are planning on shuttling people from Bachelor Parking Lot to Dutchman Flats to be picked up by snowmobile in three 40-minute shifts at 9:00am, 9:40 and 10:20 then again in the afternoon start at 2:00pm, 2:40 and 3:20. We will have a four place enclosed trailer for shelter at Dutchman and a 10 by 10 tent with propane heat at the spot. (East side of Ball Butte, next to the Wilderness Boundary).
Please bring handheld radios if you have them, Talk About radio's Channel 6, Code 7. Be prepaired for winter conditions. Avalanche Transceivers recomemded if hiking into Broken Top. Helmets and waiver signature required.

Can't make it.
Unfortunately I'll be in Okie on business for 3 weeks in Jan.
I do have a friend in the Bend area. I think the fam will have to visit them this winter!!!!

Yes as of 30NOV2008 there are about 12 spots left.

| No back-up dates or refund if the wind doesnt co-operate? Guess I will wait till we get a little closer and see if the forecast looks good before I commit $ Hopefully there will still be space available, but I cant see paying for nothing ?

Elk Lake Resort is now in and if everything works out right they will be offering there 14 passenger heated snowcat for transportation, along with the 10 snowmobiles we already have slated for the job.

Also the Phoenix Inn Suites, downdown Bend and only one block from the party is offering a 32% discount to the BKC, no TAXI and free breakfast. Please let us know if interested in staying at the Phoenix inn, next time the party is going to be at Elk Lake resort.
8 Spots Left(3 not spoken for and 5 not paid). This event is limited to 30 people because it is not park and ride and we are trying to keep the forest service on our good side.

Tiny-
Our best spots are within the wilderness boundary and the Forest Service limits groups of 12 inside the boundary. We have two great spots which means 24 kiters will be kiting while 6 are resting, shooting the s)*% and getting warm. We have 6 spots reserved for Reps that’s donated all the goods to give away at the raffle. If some of them don’t confirm a few spots will open up.
So if interested get your name on the backup reserve list, first come first serve.
