Water is getting a little colder.... guess thats what the TWO wetsuits are for!
Nice pics Tom. You were Rippen out there today!
Probably the smoothest winds I have seen in a long time.

Cold water is good for riding strapless..... its great incentive NOT to miss a turn Laughing

I had what was probably one of the best sessions of the year today at the ponds.

Great wind, good friends, lots of sunshine. If the water would have stayed around longer, so would I.

unbelievable for november

Nice pics Rollo! Mark, you should buy the full sized ones from Rollo. Very Happy Way to rip! Thumb's Up I went to the Lagoon, one of the best sessions this year! Very Happy Very Happy

Miss seeing you out there PKH... How's the knee doing?

Adam, I think it's going to be another 7m day. Rooster looks like it might drop off this afternoon though... It can drop pretty fast once the wind decides to slack off there though.

When you say 7m do you mean >35 knots?
So maybe I will head out to the pond.....The forecast that I found for the pond only seemed like it would get to 15knots..

Adam, maybe 5m... Very Happy

TODAY...PARTLY SUNNY. AREAS OF LOW CLOUDS WITH PATCHY FOG AND FREEZING FOG IN THE MORNING NEAR HOOD RIVER. HIGHS 45 TO 50. EAST 5 TO 10 MPH EXCEPT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH CASCADE LOCKS WESTWARD DECREASING LATE.

Rooster steady state winds tend to be near or above the gust predictions... Not so bad right now, gusting to 35 or so. Here's a link for a sensor that is a good indicator for RR: (Steady state at Rooster tends to be near the gust factor. Not always...) http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=KWAWASHO9

I'm heading to Astoria for a short session, and then spend the afternoon on the coast with my wife. Very Happy Right now, it doesn't look windy down there, but I'm not good at figuring out the lagoon yet. Yesterday was my first session there.

Good call out there Rollo! Steadiest east winds I have been in.

I told ya Mark all was launching out of the water. Nice work!

More east chills today.
