Made a trip down to San Felipe and Punta San Carlos last week, so thought I'd post up a few pics. Started out with northerly winds blasting down through the Sea of Cortez. Rode our 7M's here for two days. We were hoping for a bit more "surf" from the winds, but mostly 1-2 foot stuff. Very fun.
Then, it was down the coast of the Sea of Cortez, and off to the coast of Punta San Carlos. We scored 7M wind here for one day, then 10M stuff for the next. Very successful trip. I don't know what it is about San Carlos, but the setup there for riding waves is next to perfect. The water was relatively warm for our stay there as well.

| Nice trip and fun photos. San Felipe, land of the million foot tide. The 7th shot shows a large restaurant or building of some kind below the lighthouse. It used to be an icehouse with a chute that served the fishing boats. Fun to jump off of.
