...Have some Australian friends who are thinking about visiting the North American west coast. Give 'em a tip-or-two if you have something to add. (This is not a kiting trip.) Here's their questions:
Qantas is having a 2 for 1 sale, so we can fly to LA or San

Yeah, San Fran is a pretty cool city. I prefer it over LA. Southwest and Alaska Air are usually pretty decent on the West coast, but you can always try a search engine too. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

| agree on SF - you can go north to the redwoods or napa/sonoma or head south to monterey (good aquarium) or santa cruz all family friendly or just hang out in San Francisco which is arguably the most beautiful city in the US. |

If they come to PDX...with a toddler...they should hit the ZOO, Childrens Museum and maybe even OMSI if they have the time.

Check southwest airlines for flights they are usually pretty cheap from Cali to Oregon.
