My son just washed his cell phone yesterday--full cycle for 50 minutes!
1. Vacuum the phone for about 15 minutes with the hose type vacuum--suck all of the water out from between the keys, and especially the screen
2. Take apart the phone (battery, sim card) and completely cover phone and battery in about 4 cups of un-cooked rice, seal in an airtight bag and wait 24-48 hours.
Works every time. In fact, his phone started working after 12 hours. Be sure to vacuum though.

I have heard you can also take the battery out and the back plate (as much as easily comes apart)off. Place it all on kitty litter. The kitty litter will absorb the moisture out of the phone over night.

Just did a beach check...swell has decreased quite a bit from recent days...which is good news for most. Lot's of caps showing up on the outside not much on the beach yet...
definately some potential!

yeah, the earlier birds got the worms today...and pretty nice ones at that. Lots of fun faces and sunshine...
Things started tapering off fast by mid afternoon...
