Sunny and windy. Heading out from Beaverton around 10:30 ish. Water looks to be fairly high. After scouting yesterday, Looks to have some sand to the east of the volleyball courts. Up near the island.

See ya there.

Yeah, Stevenson was a blowen out mess of debris. Wonder what will be floating by Rooster? Black rubber twigs and berries? Laughing

There is sand at the East Side of RR adjacent to the island. Good enough today for a couple of kites!

Water wasn't that cold with the air temperature at 55 F and wind 22kts.

Pete went out without gloves, just a hoody and it was tolerable. The path only has about of foot of water in some spots.

I'm going to try tomorrow (Sat) around 10am. If anyone wants to partake. Is there lots of shallow water in front of the island like last year?

Water temp 52 degrees. The water in front of the island is kind of choppy & squirrely winds. Very nice out in the channel... I was overpowered on my 11m. Drift launch only, but there is beach to rig up on. (East of the volleyball courts.) Not much debris in the water, easy to avoid.

Mark was getting some awesome boosts! Very Happy

Was a good mid November session for sure. We found a nice warm sunny sandbeach on the island to rig on. Not sure you could make it across the "channel" by foot. There was a limited amount of sand on the west side of the flooded island. I was in my 3/4 suit and didnt wear booties. Not that bad. Chop was the call of the day. River was fairly debris free. Did see one big net all twisted up floating along. Oh yeah, the Viet schlong were out as well. Rolling Eyes

Stevenson is FULL of debris. Rooster will be the best bet. May see ya there.

Ps Way to rip Mike!
