Hey all :
We're in need of a good band/music recommendation for our "It's all good at Mt Hood" party on Dec 7th at the River City Saloon.
We're showing a ski and a snowboard film then need a band to play for the rest of the evening to make it a legit party.
Band cost is limited, but not unreasonable.

| These guys might be available. Reggae/Soul band from east shore CR/Portland. Really good vibes and talent. Saw these guys open for an afro-funk band at Crystal and basically nobody stayed for the headliner....too damn tired from their set and everyone went to the after party instead. Look em up at the myspace band search. They reside in PDX now. |

These guys are already booked to play at the River City on Nov 28th. Damn good music though!!! I'm putting this night on my calender as one to check out at the River City, definitely!!!
Amery's band broke up a while ago when 2 members moved to Hawaii (bummer)
Dr Theopolis - I'll keep trying them
Pinkzilla - definitely a good suggestion, just need to determine if we want to heavy or rasta

Right on. Should have maybe known about the River City show. Good friends with the lead singer (Brian) from a while back and try to see them as much as possible. Going to have to take all the non-kiting (and kiting) PDX crew out to the gorge to see this one.
Funktron, looks like your going to be kicking down floor space my friend. Soul at the River City. As if the snow wasn't reason enough to come out..... |
