| We are going to Los Barrilles in a couple of weeks, any recomindations if there are no wind days? I've spent time in both Cabo and Todos Santos surfing and we will have no transportation, so looking for local stuff to explore. Anyone know any other coral reefs other than Cabo Plumo?

The Cute chick is already part of my no wind day plans but since Mother Nature is sometimes moody when it comes to giving up the goods, I'm looking for some local flavor. Preferably something that won't get me in trouble with said Cute Chick (there's some devil in that one -I'll PM you the full pix! ).
The Cute Chick says,
Hey JB-that was supposed to be our secret muy especial friends and family sell-your-soul-to-the-devil deal! Not everyone gets the Wind Every Day deal, that's why we have the other toys.

Rent some ATVs and take them up the arroyo to the waterfall at the end. We haggled down to like $40 per person for 4 hours. Pretty worth it.

| How big is the fall? Can you or would you even want to swim in the bottom pool?

Not really. It's not huge or anything. The cooler part was racing through an arroyo for almost 4 hours and crossing the stream at times at full speed, catching some air, having really hot water spray your legs off the engine. Good times all around, just don't damage the ATVs or they'll try to extort some random amount of money out of you and throw you in jail if you don't pay them.
If you have a car be sure to check out La Ribera for some wave kiting. It's around the South side of the bay that's just South of Los Barriles. Ask locals how to get there. On the predominant NE wind direction the wind there is a bit onshore, but at least you get some waves actually breaking. It's a huge beautiful deserted beach. If the wind's blowing a bit more N then La Ribera can be really good with side-shore wind. It can also blow a bit more than Los Barilles if it's more Northerly or side-off and light in town.
Oh, and check out the hot dog stand and grill on the way to the North end of town. It'll be on the right side of road after the road curves left and then curves right again, not long before you get to the North beach. There's some overpriced fish restaurant on other side of road across from it. The hot dog stand and grill are just in a dirt lot with plastic tables set up in front of it. Awesome superburritos and steak for damn cheap. Bring your own beer to your table. We ate there every day.
