Hein or any other genius,
I was just wondering what you thought of this type of system?
Enough grab for boosting, but easy enough to move around on the board.
Do you think it would work, or is has it already been tried? _________________ (>====<|> ---< |

no way it would work. Think about it your feet stick to the board when you want to jump, so what are they going to do when you try and move your feet...stick to the board _________________ BIP- "YOUR GIRLFRIENDS FAVORITE" |

Finesse, timing, power and angles go a long way in keeping a strapless board to your feet. Keep her waxed and keep her on the water and you'll be amazed at what you can pull. _________________ Order your copy of Present Tense today at http://cineaptic.bigcartel.com/product/present-tense-dvd |

Electro-magnets baby! You can carry a wireless remote in your gloves and at the press of a button turn the magnets on so you stick to the board. I'm patenting this so don't any of you even try to steal my idea. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

I think foot hooks are really cool and will allow you to send it super high on your surfboard!! I mean thats why you ride a surfboard right? to send it? I mean why else would you kite? If your not sending it than wtf are u doing?? _________________ I heart dangling |

Perhaps you are having trouble staying on your board because there is this line pulling you up at the waist. If you unhook then you can use your whole body (arms, legs, waist) to absorb the change in distance between your board and your kite. But if your kite flies poorly unhooked then that's another problem.
When I see a big wall of white water coming at me. I slow down, unhook and put my weight on my bar. Then I suck up my legs and arms to let the board float over the foam. When I'm over I immediately dive my kite so that I'm not suspended by it while the water falls away on the back side. This allows me to pick up some speed so I can get in position for the next one. |

Hein, to shed a little light on our beloved channel marker and his difficulty in riding strapless, he's currently flying foil kites... _________________ Bury me standing cause I won't lay down!!

Does someone make a small 3-4M foil that flies good unhooked?
2 lines even. I'd like to try one. Had my B3 out at Rufus once but
was riding a twin with no volume. Got to try that again strapless
on a surfboard. Might be a sweet nuke setup. |

I think I had it on a short bar and some ~15M 500# lines. It didn't really have
enough grunt to ride a twin. But a surfboard might work better due to the volume.
Ben at the coast used to ride a B4 with some 30m (may longer) lines.
2 line foils may well have a place as very high wind swell riding kites.
Or maybe not. |

I had that thought as I watch the local land buggy guy
they really don't generate much power in turns.
turns about the rate of synapse |
