news flash, if you think people are talking about how fly you are cause your riding strapless or you got the super mojo liquid force bindings with the gold piping ...your delusional.

Bottom line, the hooks could be cool and if the help you shred some wave and have fun then so be it.. I thought it would be cool to have hooks on a skimboard and pop some sick ollies. Who cares if its cheating; its not like your sporting a gojoe.

Well said

right back to ya,

Do you think foot hooks somehow
make or break who a person is?

or do clothes make the man?

I'm glad you care enough to post up.

most of the close up boy shots
have thier asses sticking out.

I think yours is sticking out a long ways
good right?
or legit ?
Is there a reason that our vast differences are being
brought up?

the joke is not apparent
and the criticisim isn't either

just seems snide and rude

It's just frustration from the glass ceiling that dangling forces upon the wakestyle movement. It's hard to channel the energy in a manner that helps people realize no one should be praised via magazine coverage, video coverage, or contest winnings for dangling yet it happens like an infection. About all one can do these days is just ride and wait for the rest of kiteboarding to get it.

could be a matter of interest

some are,
some are not

some dangle like a mofo and dig the shit out of it
(some very good friends)

no skin off my nuts is it?

Most kites look like deer in the headlights
frozen.

mine wags like the tail on a
DOG
happy

Perhaps wave riders and wakestyle don't have much in common
and I'm sure either could find plenty to fault the other.

why tho?

My bit of praise for the wakestyle is that,
for now you won't be coming to the waves .

Most do endure the constant barrage of whats acceptable

quietly and with courtesy.

personally I give a rats ass
just be able to lower your kite and let me by
thanks in advance Laughing

There's no wakestyle vs. wave riding debate. They're not at odds with each other. Lots of people enjoy both. If you look at most top wakestyle riders they also dig riding the waves and many are really good at it.

I dig both.

It seems silly that two small pieces of foam should incite such bad blood. They are not kooky. They are the halfway point between being strapped and strapless. Nothing more nothing less. I wish it was windy here.

Well said. and again, were not talking about gojoes.

I'm good with that ,
are there no top wave riders
interested in wake?

I don't follow any of it.

seriously

no mags or anything
too much junk
(one of the reasons I don't care for pics too much when I see something really lame in a mag ,it makes me cringe a bit)

The other day a dude was videoing me and came up later and asked if I wanted to have him email it to me ,I said I was happy just the way it was ,(in my mind)
of course my fear was that I wouldn't like what I saw.

Kiting to me
is limited to a good peeler ,
7.0,
15 -30 mph wind
minus a crowd
some good buds
sun and not freezing cold

I did move to where I ride so I do have a bit more invested than some
and I do care about going kiting
just not what others are doing
unless it affects me.

My guess is that top riders of either school
don't give a shit in the least what the other is doing

but I'm no top rider
and I don't care.

that's for sure.

So it's a no go to the foot hooks then?
but the go joe is a hit Laughing

Leave the straps and bindings for the bedroom. Surfboard should be naked

1000+ hits on Foot Hooks

- the kiting window is not closed yet (OK as of 3PM it is over)
Great October - Good year - now lets pile on Team Velcro with Sleestack's ankle weights Laughing

Is that a water noodle - should just make a board out of those that would be badass.

Fuck no it's not over

There is going to be a southerly sess this weekend!!!!
(clouds will clear ,rain will stop, sun will come out, wind will blow ,waves will crash)

are you in?

I see what asking questions is like for new and old members of this not so exclusive club
called NW Kite
