I pity the fool that just charges out into the big stuff.

My homie Matt D dragged me out the beach - 7m sideoff and as big as you want it. Initially 0 for 2 for gettin to the outside

One kiter is out by the jetty - but not mixin it up - he comes in.

Somewhere downwind of the jetty - I decide to man up.

first attemp - epic asswiping - walls of whitewater tumbled my weak ass - lines rockin backwards through my legs - pull kite out of sky. Did get it relaunched - thank you great one.

second attempt - bulldozed and drop kite - board off to the beach - relaunch kite - thank you god - these REVs relaunch really well Thumb's Up

Time to take a short break an cough up some starfish - lets see how the polesurfers do it

Matt cruises to the outside no problem - can't see much - he is ridin something - see him go a long way - he catches the reform, the reform is over his mast - he rips it screamin down the line, dude is a rockstar.

Third time is a charm - the outside is scary but doable - catch a few rides.
Make it back to beach - thinkin maybe I should bank this - wrap up lines sit for a while - thinkin maybe I should walk up to the jetty - thinkin if i walk all the way up to jetty might go out again - hmmm - start the walk - watch Matt get obliterated (think to self is it bad form to sand kite prior to lookin for his carcass or just look for carcass) sand kite head out to the water - Matt appears - sweet.

The jetty is the call - fuckin easy entry - out huntin - find biggest wave at jetty ride it back to campground.

Grab camera to get some shots of Matt - arrive in time to find picking up the pieces of his broken mast - he's stoked he is back on the beach - says it his best session ever - biggest - big smiles.

Another kiter appears - it is Steve - steve says he has been kiting for 9 months - way to go bro!

I randomly checked the report today and saw how good the wind was, made me seriously consider ditching class and driving over for maybe an hour of kiting. Sick to see someone got it and hoping the conditions stay through the weekend. Man I hate school.
