Sorry to hear about this man, if it is patella + MCL + meniscus damage that's rough!

There are some good topics on these injuries right here on nwkite if you search for "ACL" or "MCL" using the search engine (linked at the top)

Lance K also showed me this awesome forum when I tore my ACL:

http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=71275558905226c9d3a8cda1459cc6a1&f=16

Lots of good info in there.

I don't know much about MCL, but I am 3 weeks out of ACL reconstruction, and the advice I'd give you is the same as everyone gave me:

- Get a good doctor / surgeon, don't be afraid to shop around on this... ask lots of questions of them and make sure they give you good answers
- Be dilligent about Physical Therapy before & after your surgery (before part is critical!)
- If you killed your ACL I recommend the allograft or patella graft solutions. The allograft is a dead guy tendon, which is nice because then you don't damage yourself any more. If you injured your patella too, then this might be your only option.

Real bummer dude but you picked the right season to be laid out, get better and come back stronger then ever. Thumb's Up
