| Anyone know where I can get weed fins for a directional board, we get big swell but a lot of weeds up in B.C. in the winter. I am not sure what type of fins are on my board they have 2 plugs with alan screws in each fin. Thanks |

| I don't know too much about B.C. weed, but if you want to use your everyday average fin, drill your board at the plug holes and use allen cap screws from your local hardware shop. Don't quote me on this though, maybe post pics. |

I doubt that weed fins exist for surfboards seeming that there wouldn't be much demand or use for such a fin in the surfing world. Your best bet would probably be just get a cheap set and modify them to you liking.

Yeah, what Drock said. Check out some windsurfing weed fins and try to get a set that you can modify to approximate those. I agree those sound like FCS fins.

Hi Brian,
You might want to talk to windsurfer Jerry up here in BC, I figure you probably know him. He shaped his own kiteboard fins out of an old windsurfer fin he found on the Squamish Spit, they look awesome, I thought they were TFC fins at first. If you decide to make some fins I'm sure he could he might have some good suggestions. I've never heard of surfboard weed fins, let alone in FCS.

B.C weed, fins? is that Before Christ weed,,,,fin? that's some old shit..
