I have an older pair of reef shoes with no laces needed(they are mesh and have a liner)...and I just drilled holes in the sole. Anything that has mesh will work to drain water pretty good.

but no hi-tops yet.. Wink

I like these - the mesh dries quick - collect ssome sand but people pay good money to have their feet exfoliated Laughing

The deck actually has a layer of kinda soft foam in sort of an egg-crate shape. Just wear some high toped aqua socks (if you want to look like you just came from candy mountain)..

its all your Gman..you going BV manyana morning?

Nice board, PMB!

Everytime I look at a deck like that, I think of how sweet that would feel on my bare feet, skippin' across the wah-wah. Very Happy

Something like these Vans + able to stand up to water use
and maybe a hidden neoprene collar to keep sand from
coming in the top and a sealed tongue like on a snowboard
boot. The sole should be flat on the outside but with good
support on the inside. Like a skateboard shoe. I don't really
mind sand in my shoes but if it can be kept out then I might
be able to ride better and with a little more confidence.
especially where it is shallow.

Hey Hein check em :http://www.evogear.com/wakeskate-shoes/nike-60-air-mogan-mesh-shoe-2008.aspx
Nike's listening as far as high tops go, check out the 6.0 website to see if they have anything you like. http://www.nike.com/nke6/v5/?undefined#/brand/product/footwear/
I wear the Nike FC shoe, it works. I've also gone barefoot, it's fine as long as you dont hit any sliders.
