Hey everyone- Thank you so much for coming out to support the
First ANNUAL 2nd Wind Sports Pray4Snow Sandbar Party!!

First- Thanks to Pepi and Erica Gerald!! The owners of 2nd Wind Sports THE top shop in Hood River for ski,snowboard,kite, windsurf, wake, grinch, shotski, sick parties and MORE!!

I'm sure Pepi must be STOKED today to have seen that party go so well and have so many people come out to support it!!

BIG THANKS TO ALL INVOLVED!!!!

I won't remember or be able to list everyone.. .but here's a bit:

-TIMBERLINE Resort and Steve and the Timberline park crew!
These guys hooked up the snow for us as well as the snow rail and all the hands and knowledge to make it happen.

Fist ever Sandbar ski/snowboard rail jam!!

Also Big Shout out to: THE SLIDER PROJECT and the NW Liquid Force Riders!!
These guys set up the SICK Grinch wake park features, as well as delivered the snow and rented and set up the large lights for the wake park.

Did you even notice how GOOD THE PARTY SOUNDED?!
Thanks to Mixwell for coming out and spinning tunes all night.. even after taking a serious rib injury from the snow rail.

This guy was uber classic. "ok dude, don't edge on the kicker" "Yeah, dude, you'll be fine, just don't carve while your on the ramp and you'll be fine" "its totally easy dude, just line it up and go straight off the ramp, keep the board flat and don't edge"

Of course..... he sets an edge on the ramp, flips over the nose of the board, smashing into the ramp with his shoulder (breaking it) then flips ass over elbows into the water.

Uhmmmmm... somebody better please call or check on Mixwell this morning to make sure he is still alive.
Dude literally broke a rib on the rail at around 7pm and then kept mixing music with Adam until about 2am (*it's amazing what a little Vicodin and drinks will do for you).

Seriously, someone make sure he is okay.

I'll post some pics and comments after work today.

This party was SICK!!

And, Erica and I are ever so grateful for all of the love, support and help that everyone gave to us in order for us to make this event happen.

Such a sick day. It was funny as hell to see my brother dive off the kicker his first hit. happy lance captured that beautiful moment.

The snow box was sick though the drop in was sketchy being the first time strapping in to a snowboard since April.
Awesome to see all the guys with skill hit it.

So sad i had to leave early after my concussion from a fs3 off the kicker.
Im so stoked for it to happen next year(minus the concussion).
