| so all you mo foes missed out on a sick weekend at floras lake!! it was pretty fun.. thanks to carol and tony for the cocktails!!!! anyways yall missed out one some smooth wind ans shorty weather!!!!!!!!!!!!! i did see a new interesting instrument called a mojo.. it was kinda funny looking the dude said it was supposed to bring the board back to him when he crashed? interesting because we are on a lake!! haha anyways it was fun!! |

It was one of those days where the wind comes in really westerly, right off the ocean. Probably one of the smoothest days i've had at the lake all year. The water is starting to rise again so no more shallow landings 
on a side note: the campground is closed as of OCT 16. i belive they will re-open in feb-march.

It was a great weekend and the wind kept blowing Monday and Tuesday as well. (8m on Monday ) I had to go back to Portland Monday night but Carol got in a couple of down winders at Whiskey Run on Tuesday with Andy.
Not sure of Holly's picture taking abilities but she cooks up pretty mean s'mores! Two toasty marshmallows on top of a reese's peanut butter cup! Campfire goodness!!! 
Need to make sure we hit FL at least once every season. It's a sweet spot to ride!

i like to party, but when there are smores involved and I'm kitecamping, i wake up with that shit alll over the place.....and i usually fall asleep with chocolate in my pocket.....damn
i'm psyced on this floras lake...is it good in the southerly....is it state park camping or dig your own?

Eli, I took my fam down there a couple years ago, and stayed at the this KOA campground in Bandon.
VERY nice KOA. They have a pool and a LONG hot tub that felt wonderful while shaking off the chill of a good sesh.
They also have showers and a hoops court.
The showers were excellent to rinse out the marshmallows from your hair and the chocolate skid marks from the previous nights festivities.
They also had this campground get together strawberry shortcake night.
They even have a few cabins.
